What Is RTP and Why Does It Matter?
Return to Player (RTP) is the theoretical percentage of all wagered money that a slot pays back to players over a very large number of spins. A slot with 97.00% RTP will, in theory, return $97.00 for every $100 wagered across millions of spins.
House edge = 100% − RTP. A 97.00% RTP slot has a 3% house edge. A 94.00% RTP slot has a 6% house edge. All else equal, you will lose money more slowly at the higher-RTP title over a long session.
Why RTP ≠ guaranteed wins. RTP is a long-run mathematical property, not a session guarantee.
